Overview
ZLAN5G40A serial server is a rack-mounted 16 serial port RS232/485/422 protocol converter between TCP/IP developed by Shanghai ZLAN Information Technology Co., Ltd. ZLAN5G40A supports 16 RS232 serial ports, 16 RS485 and RS422 serial ports, and RS232 supports flow control. Connect to the ZLAN5G40A through a network cable, realize 16 serial ports at the same time full duplex operation, each serial port has the same function as a single serial server ZLAN2100/3100. Each serial port can be used as TCP server, TCP client, UDP, and UDP multicast. ZLAN5G40A is ideal for multi-serial networking.
ZLAN5G40A is a 16-port Modbus gateway with Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU function. When used as a Modbus gateway, the TCP port of each serial port can be configured as port 502, and there is no need to modify the port of the existing Modbus host computer software.
ZLAN5G40A-8 and ZLAN5G40A-8 are rack-mounted 8-port serial servers with the same shape as ZLAN5G40A. The enclosure is available in both white and black colors.
Peculiarity
- The 16 serial ports all support RS232, RS485, RS422 three serial ports (RS422 needs to be set by jumper), the serial port is RJ45 form, RS232 supports hardware flow control. When using RS232, RJ45 to DB9 (male) adapter cable accessories are available.
- The 16 serial ports can work independently and full-duplex, without interfering with each other, and can be configured for different baud rates.
- It supports the network switch function of 4 network ports, and can be used as a switch at the same time.
- Abundant indicators, each serial port has independent TCP connection indicators and data activity indicators.
